Biking the Bounds (Red): A cycle ride around Bishop’s Waltham, keeping as close as possible to the parish boundary, using roads and a bridlepath. Bishop’s Waltham and South Downs (Blue): This is a route with a mix of road and off-road tracks, starting in St George’s Square, the route winds its way to Upham.
NB: The direct route between Bigpath Farm Cottages (A) and Beeches Hill (C) is not recommended. It is very steep, with exposed rock faces, slippery in the wet, and with many exposed tree roots with severe risk of tipping cycles over. Please follow the detour between points A-B-C, taking care on the roads.
Please be aware that routes are shared with other users (vehicles, pedestrians, dogs, horses etc.) and users of these routes do so at their own risk.
We do not accept any responsibility for loss, damage or injury however caused, arising directly or indirectly from use of the walking and cycle routes provided.
